Thai Basil Swizzle
A classic blend of Jamaican rums packed with Thai spices and lime to make a complex and immensely refreshing cocktail. Perfect for both hot and cold weather.
Straight from the can, or the swizzle way: over crushed ice in a tall glass, stirring vigorously until frost forms on the outside of the glass.
We took inspiration from one of our cocktail bar’s most popular drinks – a Gin Basil Smash – to make a Thai version of a classic swizzle cocktail. It’s fresh and light and highly addictive.
How it’s made
We start with a blended Jamaican rum and infuse it with plenty of spices – galangal, ginger, clove and lime peel – and add clarified lime juice, gum arabic syrup and fistfuls of Thai basil.
